On this tour, you'll get the opportunity to take a walk around Schwerin, the oldest city of the German state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
You'll first explore Market Square, where you'll be able to see the Lion Monument , dedicated to Henry the Lion. You'll continue to the medieval Schwerin Cathedral, built in the Brick Gothic style. You'll have the chance to climb to the observation deck on top of the cathedral and enjoy the panoramic views of the city.
You'll then be able to stroll through the 16th-century Alter Garden and visit the renowned Schwerin Castle, located on an island in Lake Schwerin. Before the tour ends, you'll also have the opportunity to explore the collection of 17th-century Dutch and Flemish paintings and other remarkable artworks in the Staatliches Museum Schwerin.
