This tour of Augsburg city will give an insight into how the city developed as one of the most important Renaissance cities in Europe.
You will learn about the art-loving families and their influence, Elias Holl –the city architect, as well as the works of Albrecht Dürer. The guide will also tell you how the city’s culture got influenced by the Renaissance. You will also go to visit the Fugger and Welser Museum, to learn about two of the most influential families and their contribution.
