Departing from Avignon, this half-day tour provides you with the opportunity to learn more about the traditions and processes of wine production in the Rhône Valley. Alongside your expert wine guide, you'll travel to some of the region's most established appellations, where you'll gain a deeper understanding of the quality regulations placed on winemakers throughout the valley.
Your tour also will also include wine tasting sessions at two of the Rhône Valley's most renowned appellations. First, you'll visit the Tavel Appellation, where you'll be able to try their famous pink rosé. Then, after driving through picturesque vineyards, you'll arrive at the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, where you'll be able to enjoy an additional wine-tasting session featuring a selection of AOC-classified wines.
