On this adventurous outing, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Honister Slate Mine.
You’ll first put on climbing and safety gear and walk about ten minutes through old tunnels to the start of the mine. Inside, you'll have the chance to take in the views of subterranean caves carved out by miners. Using a fixed cable, you'll be able to scale the rocky walls and cross the bridges of this underground world.
