On this guided tour, you will explore the natural beauty of the Lassithi Plateau and the Diktaean Cave and visit local villages.
Your first stop will be village of Kritsa where you will find the Panagia Kera Byzantine Church and the ruins of the ancient Greek city Lato. Afterwards, you will head to the Lassithi Plateau, which is famous for its windmills. Here, you can spot some mountain wildlife such as eagles and goats.
Next, you will be driven to Psychro village where the cave that is believed to be the birthplace of Zeus is located. You will explore the cave and hear stories about it. Finally, on the way back, you will stop briefly at the village of Krasi to see the famous plane tree that is about 2,400 years old.
