On this guided tour of Gramvousa and Balos, you’ll discover a 16th-century castle and swim in a lagoon.
Starting at Kissamos, you’ll take a one-hour boat ride to the small island of Gramvousa. After learning about a geological phenomenon caused by ancient earthquakes, you’ll visit the Gramvousa Castle, which was built by the Venetians in the 16th century. From this hilltop location, you can see panoramic views of the island’s beaches and surrounding ocean.
You’ll round off the tour by heading to Balos, where you can relax on the beach and swim in the lagoon’s turquoise waters.
