On this tour, you’ll have the chance to explore the landmarks and scenery of the Lasithi Plateau with an expert guide.
After pickup from your hotel, you’ll begin your experience with a visit to the Keras Kardiotissas Monastery, an Eastern Orthodox monastery dedicated to the Virgin Mary. You’ll then continue to Psychro Cave, believed to be the inspiration for the Diktaean Cave, the birthplace of Zeus in Greek mythology. You’ll stop off in the village of Psychro to try making ceramic art at a local pottery studio before returning to your tour vehicle for a drive through the plateau to see panoramic views of the region.
You’ll end your tour with a visit to the village of Krasi. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see the sights of the village, including an ancient plane tree located in the town centre.
