On this full-day tour, you’ll get to visit the Museum of the Royal Tombs of Aigai in Vergina and the Archaeological Museum of Pella in Greece.

After reaching the listed address in Thessaloniki, you’ll get a transfer to the Archaeological Museum of Pella. Here, you’ll get to view the new museum, as well as the archaeological site – known for its unique collection of mosaics. Thereafter, you’ll travel to Vergina. Here, you’ll visit the Museum of the Royal Tombs of Aigai.

During the tour, you’ll also gain insights into the Ancient Greek, Byzantine and Modern periods of Greek history and travel back in time to the Macedonian kingdom of Alexander the Great. Additionally, you can have lunch at a restaurant during the tour, at your own expense.

    The admission charge for the Museum of the Royal Tombs of Aigai is EUR 15 in summer and EUR 8 in winter. A reduced-price ticket is available for all European Union (EU) citizens aged over 65, as well for students from non-EU countries. A valid ID or passport is necessary to purchase a reduced-price ticket to be paid locally in cash.

    The admission charge for the Archaeological Museum of Pella is EUR 8 in summer and EUR 4 in winter. Admission tickets will have to be purchased locally in cash.

    Children aged 18 years and below, as well as students of universities, technological educational institutes or equivalent EU-based institutes can enter the Archaeological Museum of Pella for free, on presentation of a valid ID/student ID.
