This guided private tour provides you with the opportunity to explore Jakarta and visit the city’s historical, cultural and traditional sites.
First, your local guide will take you to Merdeka Square, where you’ll visit the National Museum and the iconic National Monument. Then, you’ll pass the China Town area to see the traditional market and Dharma Bakti Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Jakarta. You will also catch a glimpse of a canal in an area known as Little Amsterdam. After driving around, you can take a break at Café Batavia as you take in the European ambience of Jakarta Old Town.
You’ll continue the journey with a visit to Jakarta City Hall and a wayang studio, where you’ll get to learn about traditional Indonesian puppet from a master. You’ll round off the trip at the oldest port in Jakarta, Sunda Kelapa.
