On this tour, you will explore the popular destinations in western Sicily and learn about its ancient history. From the meeting point in Palermo, your driver and tour escort will take you on a scenic drive to Erice. Here, you'll have the chance to see Venus Castle, build on top of the ancient Temple of Venus. You can also explore the town's historic centre, where you can admire panoramic views of Trapani from a Medieval castle.
From Erice, you will drive through the salt pans of Trapani, and see the ancient tradition of harvesting salt from the sea. The next stop will be Segesta, a city founded by the Elymians, one of the indigenous peoples of Sicily.
