The Abbey of Sant'Antimo is an ancient monastery nestled in the Tuscan hills, less than ten kilometres from Montalcino. With this ticket, you'll be able to visit the abbey at your own pace and learn about its history and architecture thanks to the informative multilingual audio guide.
Originally commissioned by Charlemagne, the abbey was inhabited by Benedictine monks for centuries. Today's building was built in the 12th century and is considered one of the most important examples of ancient monastic architecture.
