This place was wonderful. The owner Jim went out of his was to make us welcome and comfortable. There was glitch in our plans and Jim went out of his way to get it fixed fot us. It was raining and we got wet and cold-he brought us a heater.that warmed us up. He could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place. 😀

The Mill Bar was a lovely property, and the rooms were thoroughly quiet, even though there was a lively bar below. I patronized the bar the night I was there and it had a wonderful atmosphere. Great spot in the heart of Athlone. The location was fantastic, we felt like we were part of the city. The staff in the Bar below we very friendly and the food was great. The room was well kept and very charming, with a little view of the street.
