We loved our stay at Hanger down house. The breakfast in the morning far exceeded our expectations. The owners went out of their way to welcome us and make sure we were comfortable. The property was beautifully kept. It was very clean and everything seemed brand new. The towels were fluffy and the bed was so comfortable. Waking up was a delight with the rolling countryside in full view. Sally was available for our every need throughout our stay and kept checking in with us to make sure we were ok. The breakfast and homemade tiffin provided upon arrival was delicious and ample for the four of us. The icing on the cake was the proximity to the pub which we visited three times and had amazing food and drinks on each visit. We even managed a gentle stroll along the river into Arundel and around the castle one day which was fabulous. A faultless trip away- thank you.

The Lodge was well equipped and laid out. We went for my 50th, and we wanted peace and seclusion, and that's exactly what we got here. Watching the moorhens swimming about and the many fish jumping out of the lake from a hot tub (with a glass of champagne) was glorious. And the weather was beautiful too, which was an added bonus. My husband left his sunglasses in the hot tub, and Jack was kind enough to post them back to us. If you're after tranquillity, nature, and relaxation, then don't hesitate to book here.

Great place, amazing location in the center of Arundel so easy to walk to restaurants and shops, and very serene & peaceful on the river. The Sail Loft was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming and had everything we need including free private parking which was a huge bonus. Jane was a wonderful host, with great communication Would definitely stay again. 5 Stars!!!
