This is a great place to stay. Easy to find and there was local parking available. The hotel was lovely with good view of the town and river. The rooms were amazing with a bathroom that was larger than our bedroom. The bedroom was of a very good size. Very comfortable bed. Stephanie, the hotel owner was lovely and a joy to meet and deal with. Breakfast was of a very good standard, high quality and a good selection of breakfast items. Parking - we parking in a covered car park which was a short walk from the hotel. Stephanie, is very easy to deal with very good comms.

The house is grand, but also beautifully restored, and the section assigned to the apartment to rent houses an extraordinary collection of mid-late 20th century art and furniture, all for the guests to use and enjoy... and, if so inclined, to buy! There is a vintage stereo with a great selection of vinyl records to play: the serendipity of this is how we were introduced to Odezenne, a band from Bordeaux, whose style is an eclectic cross between chanson and rap. There are parking restrictions on the nearby street but it's free for up to three hours if you display a 'blue disc' in the windscreen to show the time the car is parked. We didn't have a disc but our host very helpfully loaned us one.
