Set in Barmouth, The Royal is a historic bed and breakfast that offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden and a terrace. Amazing place. The bathroom was very clean, the room has all you need, the beds are very comfortable. The little town is very beautiful. The staff was awesome, very polite.

Aberdunant Hall Holiday Park, a property with a bar, is located in Porthmadog, 10 km from Portmeirion, 23 km from Snowdon, as well as 30 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway. This place is magical. I wish I loved close enough to spend more time here.

Set in Barmouth and with Barmouth Beach reachable within 400 metres, The Fanny Talbot offers a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. prime location, one block away from the beach. The rooms were brand new and were stunning and clean.. nothing was ever too much for the staff, and would highly recommend this place. The photos on the side don’t do it justice!!

Brynffynnon Boutique Bed and Breakfast in Dolgellau provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 38 km from Portmeirion. The hosts welcomed us warmly. The house and the rooms are beautiful & very pleasant to stay. We didn’t spend time in the pretty garden as it was raining but had a good time at the pool table.

Hafoty Farm Cottages has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Caernarfon, 18 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway. Clean and comfortable to stay. Far from noise and cheap. It is a 30-minute drive from the Snowdonia Race start - finish but still reasonable. Will stay here again if ever I go back to run that race again.

We loved everything about this lovely accommodation in Dolgellau. welcoming hosts, lovely and comfortable rooms. Also enjoyed the shared lounge room that has gorgeous views over the township.

Featuring garden views, The Apartment at Pen Y Coed Hall provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 38 km from Portmeirion. Spacious, comfortable & well appointed. Great breakfast. Fabulous hostess who provided all the local info we needed. Off street parking was a plus.

Offering a garden and garden view, Spring Cottage at Pen Y Coed Hall is situated in Dolgellau, 27 km from Castell y Bere and 34 km from Harlech Castle. A fantastic property, in superb keeping with excellent facilities in a great location. Also it's run by a lovely & very helpful couple. It's just a 10 minute walk into the town where you can find pretty much anything you want as well of plenty of places to eat & drink. The property also had secure storage for our bikes which was fantastic as the exceptional Coed Y Brenin forest is a short drive away, for cyclists wanting a more sedate ride the start of very pretty (and totally flat!) Mawddach Trail is literally at the end of the road. Whatever you're planning in this location this place has it covered, we will definitely be returning.
