The room, hallways, entrance, stair well. elevator, etc. were in good order and clean. Breakfast was very good. It offered a variety of hot food, the typical German cold cults and cheese plus an espresso machine to make coffee the way my partner liked. The staff spoke English well enough to help us out. They did not have decaffeinated coffee; however, I can't complain. Parking was easily accessible and at no cost. The bed was alright for me; for my partner, it was so-so.

There's a self-service check in via a phone call, and then the villa itself is really nice, we stayed in a room with a wonderful terrace. The furniture, the bathroom feels like new besides few table chairs. Also Gera has interesting history.
