Room was clean staff were excellent, breakfast was good
Stay away from this hotel. Total nightmare. Rubbish thrown out of all windows, dirty and run-down rooms. It was like a staging post for Africans to get to the UK. Our room, unmade beds, someone slept in there the night. before. The only staff member we saw, couldn't care less. Gave us another room, sink blocked and full of urine. Staff member said he would sort it out in 5 mins. Never saw him again. No one from 4pm (staff) appeared to be in the building. No security, no main door locked at 10pm, car park not locked overnight. Very noisy, dirty, just awful. Couldn't wait to leave. Drug takers in the doorways. Utter nightmare. Never ever again will I use this chain of hotels.

This was nicely between Versailles, Rouen (where properties seemed a lot more expensive) and Giverny (for Monet's Garden) so was a great base for discovering Normandy.
Evreux itself exceeded expectations, with a vibrant restaurant scene, a beautiful cathedral and a tidy and well presented Town Centre. There was a multiplex cinema, theatre and Arts Centre.

We’ve lived in France for quite some time now and stayed in lots of towns and cities in lots of hotels and Évreux is one of the best cities. Fabulous atmosphere day and night, amazing selection of restaurants and cafes and great architecture. Easy to walk around and the river running right through the centre of the town adds a very special touch... get a glass of wine or a cold beer outside the London Pub and watch the folk go by. Perfect!
The place is a beautiful witness of a bit of French history, with surprisingly large rooms, beautiful gardens, swimming pool and horses, and the price is really accessible. Its such a calm place, a few minutes away from Evreux city center (we had our car with us) if you are traveling as a family? You can’t here a noise from next room so if you need a peaceful couples moment you can certainly have it. This place is a must! Merci Philippe pour ton hospitalité, c’était un séjour de rêve.
Traditional French house which was exceptionally clean. Bed was very comfortable and shower superb. Owners were friendly and helpful and they made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with lots of variety and homemade produce. The house is situated in an excellent location to the beautiful city centre of Evreux. 5 mins walk to the hotel de ville and stunning cathedral, with several al fresco restaurants.
Hotel is well located, Evreux is a really lovely town, you can easily walk into the town from the hotel. Room was spacious and clean.
The restaurant was excellent, my wife had Salmon that she claims was the best she had ever had!
Plenty of parking, outside is free and I believe if you use the garage it's 9 Euro's.
Seriously could not fault this hotel. After a 10 hour drive it was a very welcoming, super friendly hotel. I don’t usually leave reviews but as it was SO good I needed to. Just a special mention and thank you to the two ladies, one in the evening and one in the morning that were so nice and really helpful.
everything you need for a night stay, clean and comfortable. Breakfast isn't good enough. But I came to this hotel four years ago, the breakfast was worse. So they are improving fast on breakfast. The price for a family stay one night is really really good.
I like that it was downtown and looked like old France. We stayed on the third floor and all the rooms were completely redone, modernized and very nice. Has air conditioning, a great shower and bathroom and very comfortable beds. Just like new !
This hotel is good for an overnight stop. It is basic and clean and what you would expect for the price. It's secure with a security gate but you need to call reception when you arrive to be let in until you receive the access code.
Very good location in the center of Evreux.
Room/hotel is simple (2 etoiles) and clean with all the features needed for a one night stay.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Free parking just outside the hotel.
We were in the middle of a road trip and needed an accom in our journey. The hotel location was perfect for us. We didnt have any expectation as we just needed a place to sleep. But it turned out great.
Good traditional hotel, right in centre of the city, close to restaurants. Large private parking at rear, secure too. Spacious room. Dog friendly with reasonable charge of 6 euros per dog.
The staff at the hotel were helpful. They let us check in early and leave our luggage so we could explore. When we got back late, the security guard gave us our room cards.
This is my second stay at Greet Hotel Evreux and the staff is still very welcoming and professional. They do care about their customers. The fish and chips was excellent
Driving from Yorkshire to the South if France this was a simple place to sleep at the half way point. The guy looking after the place was very kind and helpful.
