Pedestrian streets make strolling around very pleasant. Many churches worth visiting with the Duomo an outstanding baroque gem. Good restaurants and easy transport connections with Milan, Lake Como and Lecco and Bergamo. Monza is such a beautiful city!
Monza is such a beautiful city! We didn't expect it to be this big. There is so much to see there. We were quite surprised that the Autodromo di Monza is free to visit (you can walk through the tribunes but not the actual race course).
Downtown Monza is very historical with many shops. We also managed to be there at the time of the Saturday Market which was a great experience as well.
The people there are also incredibly friendly and helpful.

Excellant location for the Monza F1 Track but you will need to get a taxi from this hotel unless you are prepared to walk 3/4 of an hour then you will need to walk to get to your seats within the track. Loved the town, it was better than we anticipated for choice of bars/restaurants. Beautiful shopping and even has its own cathedral. We loved San Paolo Piazza but I expect there is so much more to explore. The Train station is within easy walking (20mins) which will get you to Milan in 15mins.

Monza can be easily overlooked.
Monza can be easily overlooked. The motor racing circuit is in the park and you can book a tour. Monza itself is a very smart town. The Palace & Gardens plus the park are within walking distance of the town centre and are worth a visit. I would recommend Monza for 2 or 3 nights stay plus an extra night if visiting Milan.

Monza is a lovely town to visit not too touristy and has all the required facilities, nice restaurants etc. , the Train station is very near the centre where you can catch a train to visit Lake Como and Milan city .
This accommodation isn´t hotel, but it´s quite a really huge flat with finelly accomodated kitchen (stove, fridge and freezer, some basic cookware and tableware, bialetti moka and capsule coffee maker) and huge bathroom. There is A/C in the 2 rooms. Payed parking is under the building, which is fine, because car is safely parked and cold. Beds were comfortable, internet connection was stable. It´s in walking distance from the Monza circuit. I think it´s great take for the asked money, especially if you want privacy.
We stayed 4 nights at Locanda San Paolo and we are really glad that we choose this hotel for our trip. We spent most of our time in Milano and we used the hotel just for a nap. The train station is 800m away, about 10 minutes by foot. The bed was really comfortable. The location was ideal, lots of restaurants and Cafe nearby. The staff was great. If we ever travel again to Milano we will surely stay here again.
The apartment was perfect for us. We stayed there for the weekend of the Monza F1 Grand Prix. It is very well located close to the centre of Monza yet only 40 minutes walk to the track. The apartment was clean, modern and very comfortable. Fabio, the host from Italianways was outstanding, so helpful and so professional. I would definitely stay there again.
Nice "historical" atmosphere and "vintage" elegance. Pleasant location. This was the hotel where the greatest F1 drivers of the 60s were staying during the week of the Monza Grand Prix. Combined with the "Royal Villa" close-by creates this sort of fascinating environment. Small but comfortable room.
Room was decent size. Staff was courteous and helpful. Good facility of underground parking. Vending machine at reception for small items. A decent size mall next to the hotel with food and snacking options. Was quite expensive for what you get. But that might be because it was F1 weekend in Monza.
hospitality was absolutely 10/10. they were fantastic from the moment we arrived until we left. Can’t recommend enough. They didn’t even have us pay until the last day to make sure we were “satisfied” awesome place in the center of everything. if going to the Grand Prix, it’s the perfect location
The hotel is well located , less than 5 minutes walking from Monza train station. The room is clean and comfy. Make sure to communicate with the hotel hostess before reaching the hotel so she can open the door for you since the hotel is on the 1st floor and the main entrance is always locked.
Andrea is a great host, very kind and helpful. Apartment was perfect size for two people travelling and for a short stay. Monza is not too far from Milan or Lake Como, so the location in general is great. It's very close to the Monza Formula 1 track, so all and all, it's perfect.
Cleanliness, the renovated old building, really helpful staff, well thought out system of check in when the reception was closed, free parking on the grounds, nice park outside the building and vicinity to the race track. Even nice clientele when I was staying.
Great location for the racing weekend. Just next to the circuit main entrance. Cafe & restaurants in the area. Apartment is clean & comfortable. AC in both rooms. Hosts are super helpful. Best choice that we could have for our racing trip.
Location excellent for f1 fans. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food was excellent. Room was clean and bathroom facilities great. Cleaning staff excellent thank you. Hotel is in a beautiful location ❤️
The room was beautifully managed. Cleanliness was beyond expectations. The facilities provided were amazing. It was just 50-100m from Monza train station.
Overall it was a wonderful stay.
Excellent location, near Monza park. Also quite convenient transportation. Supermarket is very near (not mentioned on Google map). All facilities are great. We would like to come again.
The best apartment for this price I've ever had. Exceptional apartment, huge size, full kitchen, nice staff.
25 minutes of walking to Downtown Monza, free street parking
Room was perfect to accommodate a family of 4. Being adjacent to Monza Formula One circuit was a plus. Thank you for the lovely and friendly staff for the pleasant stay!
This is a Beautifully Immaculate, Refined, Stunning Hotel with a long history. So glad we were finally able to visit Hotel de la Ville. We'll definately be back.
