Breakfast was great with many options. We did have to walk two farms down for breakfast. This location no longer serves breakfast ( it did two years ago when i also stayed there.) But two doors down is another farm similarly outfitted owned by the same family and our breakfast was served there. We arrived later than expected but received a phone call from the owner when we were on the way, telling us how to access our room, if reception was already closed.

This friendly hostel has basic accommodations and is in the heart of the lively village of Grou and surrounded by the Frisian lakes.
