Hanoi is my favourite city in Asia. It is so authentic with locals living their real life right around you. It’s busy with the scooters but so much to see and wonderful shopping. I will not repeat my trip to Hanoi without paying attention to government requirements, specially entry visa. Visa cost $25.00 government guarantees 3 days, but that is NOT true. I did get the visa in about a week. DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS prior to getting visa. Airlines could punish you for rescheduling.
