They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. What stood out the most was the genuine interest the owner took in making sure we had a memorable vacation. From offering their home made Raki and later a cake to accommodating our requests with grace and efficiency, every interaction with them was a testament to their dedication to guest satisfaction. The villa itself was impeccably maintained, with luxurious amenities and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Whether lounging by the pool or enjoying a meal on the terrace or proximity of the city center and beach, every moment was infused with a sense of relaxation and contentment. Very spacious and remarkably clean - we thought that we were first guests ever! Fully tiled two bedroom and two bathroom apartment. Fully equipped for your convenience. Washing machine, AC in every room and open plan kitchen that has everything essential, should you wish to cook for yourself. Balcony with great view and table and chairs to enjoy it while dining. Huge sofa that can be turned into bed in the lounge would accommodate un/expected guests. There's TV unit as well as in one of the bedroom. Cannot tell what's available to watch as we have only been listening music. There's good speed wi-fi so I would imagine you can set up you own Netflix easily. To correctly understand my 10/10 for location - this marvelous house is in small village, up on the hillside overlooking Plakias Bay below. Village has his unique charm, with small cafeteria, small playground for kids and well rated taverna and it is still not overcrowded. To drive to Mariou you will navigate bendy and sometimes steep roads. I would say car is essential. Short ride downhill to reach beach below is only few minutes. On occasion might be windy but waters were always calm. We recommend Damnoni beach but having a car you would have had opportunity to spend every single day of your holidays on different one. Also in Plakias you will find shops, restaurants, cafeterias, bakeries... Angel House is an excellent, non expensive place to stay. We highly recommend it. We feel very lucky to be hosted by super kind Antonis and his lovely, fantastically cooking wife Kiki. We are hoping to visit Them again next year!

The house is modern and very clean. The sea is 5 minutes away and the walk is pleasant, but we also spent a lot of time at the pool. The supermarket and the bakery are really close. The restaurants and bars in Plakias are 10 minutes on foot. We liked Siroko tavern but also cooked fresh fish from the fish shop at the house. The kitchen is very well equipped indeed. Our host Manolis was very polite and gave us useful advices for our trips and dining. Thank you, I hope to see you soon!

The villa was perfect - comfortable and modern and had everything we needed. A 5 minute walk to the beach with some beach bars and 15 minute walk into town where you find shops and more bars and restaurants. The area of Plakias is quiet and peaceful and away from the crowds. A supermarket is very close by too. The host is brilliant - very helpful and informative. Perfect sized swimming pool too. We loved it!

Whilst as some mention this property is up a hill if it wasn't you wouldn't have such a great view of the bay from the balconies. It was still only a leisurely walk, which we did each morning to the local bakery/coffee shop and in the evenings to the range of restaurants and facilities. The house was immaculate and extremely well looked after and the hosts went beyond expectations to make us feel at home and they couldn't have been more accommodating. We had a lovely relaxing family time and the pool was just the right temperature throughout the day. It is also a great base to explore more of Crete we 'popped off' to Knossos and Heraklion for the day. Thank you also for the leaving gifts of Olive oil and beeswax
