You have to go to Hagastaden. We found a lovely fish restaurant which was a godsend while walking in the blizzard.
Strange that the bar Paddys had a man serving who insisted on calling me sir and knew nothing about alcohol.
The bar a few doors down; John Scotts closed about 7 pm. This may be usual for Gothenburg, I have no idea.

Very small city so not much to do if you're there longer than 3 days maybe. We went for the Christmas Markets, for 2 nights, so that was the perfect amount of time and we did everything we wanted to do. Lovely atmosphere and the food is yummy (the Swedish meatballs). Liseberg theme park is huge and a good activity. Haga is good for little cafes.

I stayed in Gothenburg for 3 days and I also shortened my trip as it was raining all One 3 days. One suggestion I would prefer giving is, if you are going to Gothenburg during late autumn, always carry some nice jackets, gloves, raincoats and waterproof shoes. transport's really a happening city and also all the public transport is easily accessible through an app called vasttraffick. A single ticket is expensive, but try buying day tickets, which will be cheap and easier to take all the transport. I stayed in a hostel and they had a really good and clean kitchen. I always make sure the hostels provide common kitchen facilities while booking.

Gothenburg is a very interesting, relatively small city with many restaurants and sites to explore. We only had two nights there, having stopped on way to Stockholm from Copenhagen, and would love to go back. We particularly enjoyed the old fashioned trolley tour beginning in the main square near the Central Station. (I believe that it runs every day in the summer and on Saturdays only starting in September.) Highly recommend visiting if you have a chance.

I loved the Botanic Gardens.
I loved the Botanic Gardens. I had a nice lunch there, and all the staff working outside spoke, even just a Hi. When you're travelling solo, that's nice. I would recommend staying more centrally, Kungsgatan has lots of shops and restaurants.
Natural History Museum was also good. Lots of families, and there are nice green areas around, with runners, bikers, picnickers and people doing tai chi
Gothenburg smells of cinnamon!
The breakfast was so wonderful, and the staff was incredibly kind. My room was spotless, and the Wifi worked perfectly. The location was great; it took me less than fifteen minutes with public transit to get into the city center, and I could've walked in about 20. It is very close to the train station for travel throughout Sweden (or elsewhere) and to the bus station for taking the shuttle to the airport. I could not recommend this place more highly! It was a fantastic stay.
This hotel is amazing! Conveniently located steps from the train station, this newly constructed building is bright, open and feels intimate, despite being a large conference hotel. The service is welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is so abundant it makes you want to stay till lunch. The rooftop bar is cool with lots of varied seating and the restaurant is top notch. It is hard to believe it is in Gothenburg, the vibe is so urban.
Good location. Quiet but convenient. Three minutes walk from airport bus stop and about 20 minutes walk into city centre. Cosy room with good facilities; fridge, kettle, hairdryer, TV, internet. Excellent breakfast served I think 6.30 to 10.30. Comfortable lobby with free coffee, cake and still/sparkling water. Rooms very clean, bed comfortable. Staff pleasant. Tourist information leaflets available. Characterful building.
We did pay for the best rom you have at the hotell. It was okay, big and stuff. But we can smell pee in the room. We don't know why. We did pay a lot for this room and that not okay. We did find a card for the last guest. super weird, but the room is big and good and the breakfast is super good. We did not have room service. Why do you don't have that? it is a 5 star hotell that don't have it and that's weird.
It was really really good!
It was very very clean, the staff was very nice and the location is great, only 6 minutes from Central Station!
The breakfast was also very good, they even had vegan options!! The breakfast room with the plants is nice and the hotel overall is very cosy.
And I loved the water station in the lobby!
If I visit Göteborg again, I will definitely stay here again.
Everything! The flat is adorable and clean.
The host was very friendly and recommended the route for visiting Archipelago of Gothenburg.
The room has very good sound proof and I couldn't hear anything from other people living at the same time.
The location is perfect for people who want to visit the archipelago. It's easy to go from the city center and not far from Saltholmen Brygga.
The rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable. The location was great because there's a bus station very close to the hotel and it goes directly to all the touristy spots in Gothenburg, like Liseberg for example. The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. And lastly the staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor was also very beautiful.
It was so convenient to everything in DT Gothenburg
The rooms were just what we needed however we would have liked items in our kitchen so we could prepare our own snacks and meals but we had nothing. No pots or pans or dishes so having a kitchen was a waste
YouTube in the tv room. A FREE shuffl table, I went to 3 hotel in Sweden and this was the only one with this. The view, the breakfast, the really nice reception. And during my stay there was an exhibition, I love art so I was happy.
Everything from room to breakfast, no noise though near the main road, the breakfast was nicely cooked and served. staff were very polite and welcoming. I will definitely use your hotel next time i come to Sweden
Very local, extremely comfortable bed and cozy room. The staff were nice. Never made it to the free waffle bar, but what an amazing touch! Overall a cozy little place to stay if you do not want a huge hotel.
it is a huge surprise for us. This hotel has 170 years of history and you could find an elegant elevator and decoration everywhere. And it serves the best breakfast in Gothenburg!
The excellent breakfast option, as expected in the various Radisson Blu chain hotels in different cities in Sweden. Had been going here twice now, and nothing really to complain.
I needed a hotel close to Göteborg central (the train station) and ProfilHotels Opera couldn't have been closer. Breakfast is fabulous and staff is friendly.
