The Grand Hotel is situated on Piotrkowska Street in Łódź's centre. Open since 1888, it offers rooms with TV sets with satellite channels, a work desk and free Wi-Fi. What I liked the most was the overwhelming friendliness of the staff. The welcoming receptionist, the amazing man who introduced me to my room and explained everything to me, the wonderful people concerned with room service. And I was blown away by the beauty of the interior design. (I knew the building from 25 years ago).
