A quaint and beautifully decorated cottage with such thoughtful finishing touches and colour schemes. We had a very comfy stay on a rainy night, the place warmed up very quickly with heaters. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and we enjoyed the fresh eggs. We loved the privacy most, having purchased ingredients to make dinner in the local Co op just up the road, we made dinner and breakfast and liked being somewhere so peaceful. We would definitely stay again, using it as a good stop off point between Blackpool and Sutherland. Would love to know what colour blue the kitchen was painted, inspiration for home? Thank you Neil and Kathryn for being perfect hosts and we will be back in the future.

Located in Thornhill, in a historic building, 4.6 km from Drumlanrig Castle, Boggle Dyke Cottage is a holiday home with a garden and barbecue facilities. lovely and cosy property that is well equipped. we really enjoyed our stay at boggle dyke,it is a good location for exploring Dumfries and Galloway. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs to go out before bedtime.

We had a wonderful welcome from Gillian and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in her spacious, comfortable, all-amenities flat. Location was also perfect for everything the town had to offer, especially Gillian's InHouse cafe and chocolate factory downstairs.

It was fabulous - the host Suzi could not have been more helpful and friendly. the bungalow was spotlessly clean, lovely comfortable beds, Living room was really well furnished - the kitchen was amazing. it has every conceivable appliance you could possibly need - she left some gorgeous shortbread biscuits and lovely tulips in a vase - we took 2 dogs with us and there was even a towel, dog bowls etc - everything you could possibly need was there the bungalow was a short walk into a lovely quaint village, with shop, pub, tea room all delightful

Featuring a hot tub, Hillingworth's Hot Tub Retreat - Lochmaben is situated in Dumfries. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Everything! The caravan is so modern, and beautifully furnished. Even candles and lovely hand soaps. Beautiful location.

It was easy to find on satnav and you have a beautiful clean kitchen fully equipped to make your own beackfast and the host were very friendly and very helpful and it was late when we arrive at property the lovely hosts had fresh milk and bread and little treats for use in the house which was very helpful and kind of them we will definitely be booking agains very soon in future and the house very clean and homely

Valley View at Clauchan Holiday Cottages, a property with a garden, is set in Gatehouse of Fleet, 49 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club. Valley View was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Stocked with all the items needed to cook food. Towels provided. Warm and cosy. Outdoor seating in beautiful surroundings. Very impressive
