Yansen and his family already started taking care of us before we even got there. Everybody was super nice and giving good tips (funeral ceremonies, further transport, where to buy postcards;)…). They also provide laundry service and very very good food! We came as strangers and it felt like we left as a part of the family!

The room is big and clean, with a private bathroom with hot shower, and a nice terrace above the paddy fields. Breakfast was delicious everyday. But mostly, Paulus and his family made us feel at home. Paulus guided us to a funeral ceremony and a day tour in some villages. He speaks very well English so you can learn many things on the Toraja country. He also helped us book transportation and homestay for our next destination. We could rent him scooter to visit the region. We highly recommend this homestay!!
