Lola (the owner) is a friendly local, willing to help out wherever he can. The hostel is situated in a 250 year old building, but has been renovated from top to bottom a few years ago. Facilities are in an excellent condition, the rooms are quiet and the beds comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped for making your own meal, a restaurant/bar and terrace are included as well. This place is hard to beat, and I will therefore recommend everyone who plans to visit the region to stay in Lola's Albergue.

The albergue was beautiful, like a home, and the hospitalero was kind and helpful. There is a beautiful garden area for relaxing, and the showers were nice and hot. I slept really well, which is kind of rare on the Camino (in my experience). It is “off stage” which I like, a small and very quiet village without city noise. Well ventilated room with windows to open…. I would return if walking this route again.

I liked the room, it had a small terrace, nice bathroom/shower, the bed was comfortable, It was round the corner from the Cathedral, central to all the bars/restaurants. It was also close to the Camino. It was a good stay.
