Chateau Cardinal is an authentic historical building in 1-minute walking distance from the centre and with perfect conditions for a relaxed holiday. The apartment was spacious, thematically furnished with luxurious and comfortable furniture, and equipped with all you need. Hygiene was perfect! Apart from the building, the property offers a spacious yard with a view towards the famous huge local rock. The host Anne-Sophie is a very kind, hospitable and helpful woman, who even came to drive us from the train station in the village of Barveaux nearby.

Known as the smallest town in the world Durbuy is also one of the prettiest. The old town dates mainly from the 17th century. Its pedestrian streets, winding between the ancient houses, are narrow and cobbled. Durbuy is a very pleasant holiday resort renowned for its excellent food. Château Cardinal has a great location in the centre of this picturesque town of Durbuy and is surrounded by ancient walls. It offers a wide park with unique view on the anticline rock. A wide range of restaurants, pubs, shops and historic sites are just a couple of minutes’ walk away. A walk through the old town is a must for every visitor. Must-see : The Topiary Park, the Belvedere, the Confiturerie Saint-Amour, the Chrismas Markets Sports : Mini-golf just behind the residence - 2 golf club features 18 hole, part 70 located on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Durbuy, just 10 minutes from the centre – biking – kayaking
