Loved the location right across from the Central Station. It was also not a long walk to the old City Square to see historical landmarks. A metro station was also right under the hotel which made travel easy.

The hotel was in a convenient location and the neighborhood had many bars and restaurants. The main attractions were close and that made it convenient to walk around in the early morning or late at night when the tour groups were gone.
The hotel staff was courteous and helpful; Breakfast was fresh and you could make fresh orange juice, waffles and pancakes. There were many choices for breakfast (eggs, vegetables, cereal) and the coffee machines made lovely coffee; There were USB ports near the bed and the bathroom was very nice.

As the world’s largest diamond-cutting city, Antwerp (Anvers in French) is naturally affluent. It comes as no surprise then that fashion is also of utmost importance, so the shopping here is excellent. It may not be the cheapest place, but the quality certainly matches the price.
Another big business in Antwerp is the port, one of Europe’s largest. Take a cruise around to admire its scale. The Scheldt River leads from the port into the city, and on its banks are a handful of interesting museums and Het Steen, a medieval castle built to protect the city against Viking invasions.
A few streets back is the Grote Markt, a beautiful square flanked by the grand town hall and 16th-century guildhouses – a typically Belgian scene. Behind this is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Antwerp Cathedral, whose asymmetrical towers look down over Groenplaats, a tranquil square filled with pavement cafes. Belgian beer is legendary and the local brew is De Koninck, which packs quite a punch.
In the south of the city is the most unusual sight – Wilrijk’s huge Jain Temple, one of the largest outside India. A little further east is Antwerp Airport, efficiently connected by public transport to the Antwerp hotels, guesthouses and apartments that are available on Booking.com.
The old town in Antwerp is quite beautiful. We only had one day and were able to see most things on our list (Red Star Museum was closed Monday). Two days would probably be enough and a more relaxed pace.

Antwerp is a very nice town with a lot of attractions. It is necessary to dedicate for the visit not less than 2 full days. I strongly reccomend to visit the Cathedral, the KMSKA Museum and the Plantin-Moretus Museum.

I've always liked Antwerp.
I've always liked Antwerp. The city has a certain charm about it. The Belgian beer is always great. Unfortunately the quality of the food has gone south, while prices have gone in the opposite direction.

Beautiful city. Our second time to visit Antwerp.
Beautiful city. Our second time to visit Antwerp. This time, we did the cycling Tour with Dirk (we got from Booking.com - Guided Bike tour: 2 hours highlights of Antwerp). It was the perfect weather for a biking tour.
An epicurean treat! @ Ernest Cafe.
Great coffee at The GOAT! ... talked with owner GOAT is Greek In Another Territory. People in the cafe seemed to know each other. Good community vibes.
Hearty pizza and pasta @ Pizzeria Leonardo da Vinci. Near train station, fast and hot meals. Satisfied tummies.

As a solo female traveller, I have never felt more unsafe as I did in Antwerp. I think it was mainly the area I was staying in that was the problem (around central station and later near sportpaleis). I have been followed, cursed at and stared at. And i mean STARED AT. On the street, in the metro, in the supermarket. It was insane! Mind you I only stayed there for about 2 days !!! I myself am from Amsterdam and never ever have I experienced this in my city to this extreme.

We visited Antwerp as a family of four and had a wonderful few days. We're living in Belgium so got there easily by train. We wanted to do something local but different for a long weekend. The city is full of museums and we discovered they are quite well funded with great programmes for kids. Every museum had an activity book for the kids to follow as the adults browsed the work.
We ate especially well on the two occasions when we ate out. It's not especially cheap to visit but was worth it for a short stay. There are lots of quiet streets where you can let the kids walk without worrying about traffic and we found some good playgrounds for them. On nice evenings we sat out on a terrace, watching the world go by. We loved the KMSKA museum and also the tunnel under the river was great fun for kids to spend their energy running. We also visited the zoo on an overcast day so it wasn't packed. It's an incredible location, right by the central train station.
We bought a ten trip pass for DeLijn trams and that was enough for four days.

Great location, right in the center of Antwerp with all the public transportation possibilities just outside your door!
Close to the University neighborhood, shopping street Meir, Central Train Station, and walking distance from the Old Town as well as 'Eilandje.
Perfect hotel on a budget, with a very convenient community kitchen and working space (great stay for digital nomads).
Friendly and helpful staff.
Great location. Right next to Antwerp Central Station and just around the corner from De Keyserlei, where you can shop and eat. It’s only a 20-30 minute walk into the Old Town from the hotel. The hotel was very clean with a huge bed, complimentary tea, coffee and water, and very welcoming staff at the reception desk. I asked for a quiet room so I had absolutely no noise problems. Very good value for money.
It is a hotel very convenienty located betwen Central Station and the old part of Antwerp, easy to find. Nice lobby, welcoming staff. The rooms design is all right, beds are comfortable. Free coffee/tea and water in the room. It was really quiet in the night, despite the windows facing the main street. Acceptable price.
Excellent location. The hotel is in front of Antwerp central station. Walking distance to old town. Short train ride to Ghent. Good breakfast. Our room was large, comfortable bed. Very clean, and very quiet. The air conditioner was working very well which does not happen very often in Europe.
My room was quiet and tidy. Very comfortable bed. Complementary tea in the room. Decent breakfast. Nice lobby area. The hotel is overlooking the Antwerp-Berchem railway station which is very convenient if you travel by train.
