The hotel has two restaurants to cater for appetites sharpened by the fresh air, The Lakes is the main restaurant overlooking 220 acres, including Holywell Lake.(Dress code applies.) For a more informal dining experience there is The Terrace, where a bistro menu is available.

Hellidon Lakes has in recent years benefited from major refurbishment, including the addition of 40 contemporary chic bedrooms including luxury executive rooms and four tastefully designed suites.

Hellidon Lakes has a large choice with the most stunning far-reaching views over Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. There are no less than sixteen lakes, many of which can be viewed from your room along with countryside wildlife.

Area information

Hellidon Lakes is situated in 220 acres of rolling countryside on the borders of Warwickshire and Northamptonshire, close to both Banbury and Daventry. The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet setting, yet is only minutes from the M1, M40 and M6 motorways.

Children aged 16 and under sharing parents room are accomodated free and only charged for meals as taken. Children aged 16 and under, sharing with 1 adult or in their own room are charged at 50% of the adult rate.

Hotel was excellent as we only stayed the night it suited us . Next time we would probably us the facilites

The only down side was they rushed us in the restaurant

Excellent views, lovely staff. Very very good food. Nice pool and jacuzzi and great spa treatments.

Breakfast came on second day, lots of stuff missing i.e knife to butter cold toast!! No plates to put toast on!!

The views were beautiful, the rooms were comfortable

The food service was appalling both during the evening meal and each breakfast was chaos - poorly organised. Would suggest they have one member of staff responsible for replenishing the buffet and one making the toast, not everyone trying to do everything. The staff were polite but clearly worn out and fed up!! Delays in checking out as everyone's bills seemed to have inaccuracies!!

We ordered room service but they did not bring us the correct food (some items missing) and one dish completely wrong. Had I have not checked with Reception, we would have been charged for the wrong order.
