In London’s fashionable SE1 district, these fully equipped private apartments have an excellent position in the heart of the city, with excellent transport links via the nearby London Bridge Station.

The local area offers comprehensive and diverse attractions, from museums and art galleries to restaurants and bars. Close to Tower Bridge, the apartments are also just a 10-minute walk from one of London’s biggest and busiest stations, London Bridge.

The extensive range of apartments at Maltings Place combine recently completed and modern apartments with popular warehouse conversions. The converted apartments have original features, many of which have been kept throughout restoration.

Room information

The apartments have been designed and furnished very carefully, in order to provide a harmonious combination of comfort and sophistication. Wooden flooring features predominantly across the board, enhancing the sense of a modernistic lifestyle.

All apartments are equipped with a range of facilities, such as combined washer/dryer, freezer and full kitchen packs including toasters. Provision is also made, without exception, for cable television and broadband connection. There is no extra charge for these services.

A selection of apartments at both locations also benefit from their own private balcony.

Area information

Once you have taken the short walk to London Bridge Station, you are in the enviable position of being able to travel directly to the West End, Canary Wharf, North and South London, all of which are no more than 20-minutes by tube. If you are working in the city, then you can walk straight to work in as little as 10-minutes.

One of the area’s most popular attractions is the famous Borough Market, just a 10-minute walk from the apartments. It is London’s oldest food market, and offers a huge range of delicious, fresh produce.

Convenience to visiting husband in London Bridge Hospital

It was noisy, next to railway line, busy road, and throughout the night other people buzzing the intercoms to get into other apartment buildings. There was not enough light in the downstairs lobby. Only had lukewarm water in the shower. The code printed in information in room for access to security gate did not work when I returned late at night.

The apartment is very nice, it has much space and it is very comfortable.

Nobody clean the apartment during our stay and nobody inform us if there is normal or not

Convenience in an area not well served. Flexibility.

I was asked to sign a paper authorising the owners to deduct extra charges for damage (beyond 'fair wear & tear'. I have never met this before. I did sign but only after endorsing the paper '... subject to confirmation on leaving.' I shall be looking hard at my credit card account!

Clean, comfortable bed

Odd design; fitted out for long stays with dishwasher, washing machine etc but no basic business facilities like a hairdryer. Poor lighting on top floor, no air con. Further from transport links than advertised, difficult to find.

A bit less convenient than a hotel for check in and access, but much bigger, nicer and more comfortable rooms. Free Internet. In the future, I probably won't be staying at the Premier Inn which is just next door.
