Mortimer Trail B and B lies on the route of this 30-mile walking trail through Shropshire and Herefordshire. This elegant guest house offers free Wi-Fi, parking and full English breakfast, just 5 minutes’ drive from Croft Castle. The three-roomed suite consists of a large bedroom with a super king-size bed and a very spacious bathroom with both a bath and a shower, along with a lounge/breakfast area. Offering a TV with a DVD player and a seating area with panoramic views of Hay Bluff, it also has a work desk, a hairdryer, wardrobe, and tea and coffee facilities. Mortimer Trail B and B serves a full English breakfast with sausage, bacon, free-range eggs, tomato, mushrooms and baked beans, with a vegetarian version also available. Omelettes, cereals, porridge, yoghurt and fruit are also on the menu, along with juice, tea and coffee. This dog-friendly guest house is close to numerous walking and cycling routes. The medieval market town of Ludlow is home to an 11th-century castle and many high-quality restaurants, and holds its Food and Drink Festival each September. By the River Lugg, the pretty town of Leominster is a 15-minute drive away.

Mortimer Trail B & B is a red brick Dormer Bungalow on the B4362, set in unspoiled countryside, sitting right on the Mortimer Trail, where guests are welcome to walk and spot the wide variety of wildlife which inhabits the immediate area. Dogs are most welcome. We take pride in our well appointed rooms that are comfortably furnished, It consists of a 3 Roomed Private Apartment. Our spacious sitting/breakfast room with a lovely view of Hay Bluff (Black Mountains). A large Bathroom/Shower room and a spacious Bedroom with a Super King comfortable bed. (Or Twins). Breakfasts are prepared with locally sourced produce wherever possible. We are situated near to the medieval town of Ludlow and historic market town of Leominster, where guests are able to explore local shops and restaurants, Shobdon Airfield and Pretty Church/Arches, Berrington Hall, Croft Castle, Judges Lodgings, Hereford Cathedral including the Mappa Mundy and Offa's Dyke are easily reached. The Bed and Breakfast is located on the B4362 with easy access to farm land, local woodland walks, (part of the Mortimer Trail) Croft Castle, local pubs. 20 minutes from Historic Ludlow/Leominster where they hold farmers markets a few times a week. Golf courses are approx 20/30 minutes away.
