However, if you want to experience city nightlife it's a bit inconvenient as Sfakaki is about 1 hour away from both Chania and Heraklion. Overall, we loved it. The host was accommodating, the cleaning lady would come over every few days to clean the house and change the towels. The tavern the host recommended was amazing so go check it out.Phuong TraCzech Republic

The managers are very nice and friendly, helpful and provided us with plenty of hints for places to visit and good restaurants. The hotel has also a bar and a restaurant where you can eat delicious servings; the hotel organizes special menus typically on weekends. Big apartment with a separate bedroom and a huge balcony with a view towards the sea and the hills. The shower is very good, hot and powerful. The hotel has a nice swimming pool. Located 10kms from Rethymnon in an area with many new developments.
