Hello and welcome! My name is Monique, I was born in France in the 40s and I am now a retired professional manager. I spent my childhood in Africa, in Dakar Senegal. I then came back to France to do all sorts of interesting things. I'm addicted to the sea, the sun, cinema and reading, and that's probably why I fell in love with Leros.

In 2022, we built this 90m2 house to accommodate our family and friends. It's a 'Greek' house, built by a local architect, but we've added our own personal touch and memories that have followed us throughout our nomadic life. We chose to give pride of place to colour: shades of Aegean blue and the red of passion for the common room; the yellow of the Greek sun for the bedroom on the first floor, and the wiser white/grey for the bedroom on the ground floor.... Facing south-south-east, the 'mountain' location soothes the summer heat. The large patio, equipped with a barbecue, can be used as a summer dining room at any time of day. And in the event of a heatwave, all the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The environment remains "paradosiako" (meaning "traditional"). Keroula is an area that has been occupied by farming families for generations. A 'Yaya' (grandmother) may stop your car to give you lemons or figs. It is customary to greet them with a hand gesture. If you are arriving by plane, we will be there to welcome you and show you around the house. If you are coming by another means of transport, we will find a solution together.

Alinda (or Alinta) is a nice seaside resort with beautiful sandy and sandy pebble beaches on the island of Leros. The place is popular, but like the rest of the island, there is absolutely no mass tourism. It is located in Alinda Bay, just opposite Agia Marina. There are several restaurants, taverns and cafes in Alinda by the beach. Kamara is also close by. It has a large supermarket, a souvlaki restaurant and a bakery. In short, there is something for everyone close by.
