Breakfast was excellent with lots of options to eat and home made break and yogurt. Made to order coffee and hot chocolate as requested. Excellent location to explore the city centre on foot and lots of amazing restaurants, sites and shopping very close by.

It's one of the many small hotels in Florence that is not an entire building but rather one or more floors in a larger structure, so the trade off is to give up setting and spaciousness in favor of walking convenience for sight-seeing, which we were happy to do since our time in the city was limited. Their arrangement with the garage next door for parking our rental car was a significant factor for us. Also, we were happy to find a roomy elevator in the bldg. as well as excellent security. The reception and breakfast area is small but adequate and the breakfast was typical. Our room's decor was amusing, and it had 2 nice sitting chairs as well as a desk & chair, a well-stocked mini-frig. and a tea-maker. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the room and the luxuriously large shower with excellent water pressure and temperature control.

It was so so beautiful. The walls of our room were handpainted with images of the Italian countryside. Just could not have asked for a more beautiful place to stay. Then it was also a fantastic location and they had a huge delicious spread for complimentary breakfast!

Loved this quiet older building converted into a B & B. Great location in a safe area close to the train station and not far from tours and major attractions within the city. Staff were helpful and kind mostly a young lady that was at the desk during our check in and check out. Restaurant just adjacent outside to left of the building is amazing! Lovely people and fantastic food. Beautiful garden inside building as well. Room was large with a lovely little balcony.

What a great spot for our stay in Florence! My partner and I stayed in one of the Deluxe rooms with fresco paintings on the walls ... go ahead and book it, the beauty and atmosphere of the room really added to the experience. AC worked great, a real plus if you visit in the sweltering summer months. The staff was friendly and attentive, particularly the woman who handled our check-in and made our morning breakfast visits sweet and personable. The breakfast was simple but very welcome, and we really appreciated the homemade yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and the option to make warm toast or sandwiches. The location is great, walking distance to some of the key sites but far enough removed that it felt a little like a secret hideaway. Many options for food and coffee nearby as well as a little market right next door for snacks and beverages. This felt like a sweet family run place with unique energy that helped us feel comfortable after long days of exploring.
