Area information

We are located between Ueno and the traditional area of Asakusa in close proximity to some of the city’s best attractions in the heart of Tokyo. Ueno park, containing national museums and Tokyo Zoo, is also nearby.

The Hotel is a one minute walk from Inaricho station on the Ginza subway line and 10 minutes from JR Ueno and Keisei Ueno Station. Our location provides excellent access to the major sightseeing spots in Tokyo and is a short train ride to the International Airport

The famous Tsukuji Fish Market and Akihabara, an area teaming with advanced electronic retailers, are a quick 20 minute train ride from the hotel. From Ueno station, The Imperial Palace is just a 10-20 minute train ride away.

The hotel's great location means you can stay out late in Roppongi, Shinjuku and Shibuya and still enter your room after hours.

For fans of Japanese cartoons, anime, and music the hotel's close proximity to Harajuku Akihabara and major event halls in Tokyo will allow you to be entertained and inspired.

I think there were insects in the bed... It was too dusty (and I live in
Doha!) and my girlfriend got bitten all over.

the freee breakfast and the location close to the train

this was the worst hotel we stayed in in Japan. it was extremely filthy and i was bitten all over my body by bed bugs. their was cockroaches all over the floor. the light was held in by duct tape.

Uncomfortable, small room, noise (from A/C or other appliances), no way to turn off A/C when too cold. I expected a bit more for the price.

The location is good and free internet

We really enjoyed our stay there, it is very closed to Ueno station and if you hold a JR pass it's on the JR Yamanote metro line. Also, it's close to Asakusa. If you don't hold the JR pass, the hotel is not far from Keisei skyliner which is a train you can get from the airport. Overall, we would say that this hotel is very good value for money!

The map, you can print to find the hotel was a bit confusing and we struggled to find it, however we had only just landed after a 12 hour flight so maybe we couldn't concentrate well. We had booked a double room (which was quite small but you don't come to Tokyo to stay in your room!..), also our bed was 120 cm wide, we knew about it before we arrived and we coped very well but just so you know.

Hotel Staff were very helpful! Internet speed was fast, and the provision of printing services (at hotel's discretion) at the front desk was useful for important stuff like online confirmation of plane tickets etc. Also, daily room service was an unexpected perk, taking into account the affordable price of the hotel.

Close to one of the busy centers of Tokyo, however cheap and acceptable comfort for few nights

Everybody at the hotel was very nice, and I also had a good internet connection in my room (brought own laptop). Location of hotel is excellent as Inaricho subway station (Ginza line) is located within 1 minute; this allows you to get pretty much anywhere in Tokyo within 30 minutes.
