Drove and took the backroads on my way to Gorinchem. Roads were narrow thru the country area and sometimes uphill and downhill. Laahavvvvv it!!!..it was a rainy/stormy weather and it just made me reminisce of the countryside were I grew from. The view and vibe was amazing. The hotel is spread over 5 or 6 separate traditional buildings which have been very sympathetically modernised and decorated. Rooms were very well equipped and comfortable. Only negatives were the modern opaque glass doors on the toilet / shower cubicle and the stairs were very steep. Breakfast was really lovely and the staff very nice and helpful. Super people.

Just a beautiful outdoor setting. The rooms have been thoughtfully appointed with modern fittings to a high standard. Although the room was small it was comfortable. Wonderful hot shower.
