Perfect location, close to all shops and to nature. Pretty hotel interior with extraordinary art decor. Great to be able to use the spa; nice pool, steam-room (lots of steam!) and sauna. Room and all areas were very clean. We enjoyed having a separate WC and bathroom - also a big shower. Friendly staff.

Schoorl is a small tourist village close to the dunes and...
Schoorl is a small tourist village close to the dunes and the beach. There are several tourist shops, but there's also a supermarket with normal prices, where locals shop as well. There are several restaurants, cafes and bars. In summer it can get crowded with foreign tourists, mostly germans. The best way for exploring the surrounding dunes and forests is by foot or by bike. There are several bicycle rentals.

It was very convenient for us to have a fridge, travelling with a small family we always needed items from the supermarket. Lots of storage space in the kitchen, which was good. We liked having enough cupboard space for our clothes. Under the Covid circumstances, this hotel did a really great job. Organising dinner in the evening was easy and the quality of the food was really good.

Breakfast was good and the location of course perfect but you need a car. Dinner at the restaurant is good although a little on the price for certain dishes. Overall it is a pleasant stay with friendly staff but you should keep in mind that to me personally, the hotel is a little worn out and could use a bit of paint and reparing.

It lies outside Schoorl 'downtown' next to a canal. We found it actually an advantage, given its quite location and the fact that we arrived by car. For those who like the sea we recommend a 10-12km easy ride to Petten or Sint Maartenszee

Did not take breakfast as to expensive for a family with 3 children to have everyday in the hotel. Location was great. Quite yet only 5 minutes walk into the centre of the village and at the foot of the dunes. House cleaning staff on our floor were very friendly and good.

The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. The staff were all excellent, and the location was perfect - within walking distance of restaurants and shops.
