It's a small town with a city center and a few shopping...
It's a small town with a city center and a few shopping opportunities around the church. There was also a restaurant that seemed very cozy and always seemed to be well visited. There's a forest area (de Manteling) close by and I can really recommend walking or biking there. The museum Terra Maris is also close by, in the area that belongs to Kasteel Westhove which is stunning. The museum is really interesting and a big part of it is outside. It feels really relaxing to just stroll around the area. Oostkapelle beach was also very nice but you can't park too close to the beach. Vrouwenpolder beach, which I liked a lot more, is also close by. So is Domburg beach.

Small coisy village. Nice shopping street. A lot of small restaurants & cafes. Good Jumbo supermarket. There is a big playing ground for children who want to do something different then just a beach.

You could sit in front of the chalet in the evening, have dinner or a cold drink and look at the stars. The surrounding area is stunning, I loved both Oostkapelle and Walcheren in general. Being close to Domburg, Middelburg, Veere and Goes was also a big plus. We were at Domburg, Oostkapelle and Vrouwenpolder beach of which Vrouwenpolder was my favorite.DaniGermany

The company taking care of the accommodation (Hello Zeeland) was very helpful and reactive for our requests (repairing of lamps, bringing over missing things). The kids appreciated the table football. The beds are comfortable. We appreciated the laundry and drying machines available.

Location is perfect for a nice bike ride to the seaside, forest and towns around! Highly recommended to rent bikes in Oostkapelle and enjoy biking in the area. We were in a group of 7 people and had fun there!
