This was my 3rd visit to Oosterbeek and each time I have been impressed by the friendly people, the beautifully kept town and the immensely important historical events of 1944 that the community of Oosterbeek honour and perpetuate. Add to this the range of Hotels and B and B's, a good transportation infrastructure and plenty of really good restaurants and you have a great place to stay when visiting this part of the Neatherlands, for what ever reason.SteveUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

The renewed Airborne-Museum gave a good impression of those awful wardays. Great pity that I found the Westerbouwing closed. 24-april-11.30, 1200. Was there as a child long ago , walked around, hoped to find the four-colour-glass-view over the river, but alas, gone! Great pity also that Dreyeroord was gone too! Please have more respect for attractive locations like that, the war-veterans would have been thankful to be able to stay there. so conveniently near to the Airborne-Cemetary.

Did not use the restaurant choice limited and a little expensive. Restaurant De Oude Herburgh a few minutes walk is recommended. Plenty of parking and safe for our motorcycles.. overall a good hotel and perfect for our visit to the Airbourne Museum.

Area was very quiet and pleasant. Room was extremely clean and tidy and so was the large bathroom and small lounge area. I had a very nice stay and was good value.
