Stayed at The Primrose a couple of weeks ago and could not possibly overstate just how much my husband and I loved this place. The Inn itself is beautiful, the rooms and common rooms all decorated so tastefully, and the location was fantastic - a short drive to Acadia, or a 10 minute or less walk into the center of Bar Harbor. The breakfasts were incredible, and the extra tea/coffee/snacks provided were always welcomed. What made this place all the more special was the staff, especially Jill and Rebecca who absolutely made our stay with their warmth, hospitality, and patience with my many questions! We were there at the end of the off-season/very beginning of the busy season so it was still quiet in town, which personally we loved. Still plenty open, and made it that much more enjoyable in the park without the crowds. We will 100% be staying there again should we ever find ourselves in that part of the world again.

One of the best places I’ve had the opportunity to stay while travelling.

The Newagen Seaside Inn is a very special place, exceptionally friendly and with outstanding staff from all over the world. In the evening we had a superb meal at their very atmospheric pub, chatting with locals, including a lobster fisherman and enjoying live music; it was a fascinating experience. It has an incredible location, a little off the beaten track, in this location you are at one with pure beauty. What a find, our stay was too short and we didn't want to leave. Given the opportunity we would love to return.

Harborage Inn on the Oceanfront is located in downtown Boothbay Harbor. Free WiFi access is available. This inn features a seven-person oceanfront hot tub. Maria and Alex were fabulous hosts. We had a problem with the booking description of the property which wasn't acceptable for our party. They found a solution for us with no fuss. The breakfasts were amazing.

Fantastic location, absolutely magnificent view, peace and relaxation, wonderfully comfortable beds, top cleaning, scented linen, kind and friendly staff, heated swimming pool. Magnificent!
