I thought other reviewers were just lucky to have animals walking through the lodge ground. We saw elephants all day. We even came across a hippo at night. Don't worry, you are accompanied by the local Askari after dark. The food was delicious. We are Jewish, so we wanted full board place with veggie options for the weekend. We were not disappointed. We were late to dinner by more than an hour (lions still hiding). Laundry was on time, dry, folded and reasonably priced.

Just outside QENP, ideally situated in a very quite garden we stayed 2 nights at the homestay. Great hospitality and a warm welcome! Facilities where great, wifi working, hot water and a great garden to relax, but above all, a very friendly staff. A good initiative to support the orphanage!

The place was beautifully located in wild nature near a lake. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and made us feel at home. The animals (both monkeys and dogs) added a special feeling to the place as well.

Songbird Safari Lodge & Campsite features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Katunguru. A very nice place in the National Park, great facilities and superfriendly stuff and owners. We also enjoyed the elephant, waterbuck and warthog visits in the facilities. Fantastic place! We would definitively come back!!!
