Great town with many shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes.
Great town with many shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Saturday morning market was impressive. Coast line tram service runs up most of the Belgium coast (we had a day in Ostend). Sea front is clean tidy, beach is massive (beach huts available for hire). Train station is accessible by tram.

Although a small town, the centre is very full with shops, food stalls and restraurant. Fries, ice-cream and chocolate are all there. Although as :Belgium, I'd expect way more chocolate shops.
The beach is long and not crowded. It is fitted with cabins that can be rented.
There is an amusement park (and water park) which can make for a fun day out. You'd need to book it.
There are not halal food places around, and the closest thing is across the French border (~20KM).

There was a market in the centre that was lively and full of interesting things. De Panne is expensive and even moderate restaurants cost Euro 70/80 for two. THe beach is long and sandy so ideal for those with children.

Hidden gem.
Hidden gem. Miles of soft sand, with sheltered eating/drinking restaurants on the beach. Miles of promenade, easily accessed with the hire of a bicycle or cart. The town has remarkable architecture, reflecting th history of late 19th century grandeur right up to on going developments.

Lovely town, in summer or winter. People are very friendly.
Lovely town, in summer or winter. People are very friendly. Good selection of shops and restaurants. Lots to see and do. Coastal tram access. Easy access to the motorway. The beach is huge and it never feels crowded. De Panne is a wonderful example of the best of Belgium.
We chose this accommodation because it is very close to Plopsaland. You can easily walk there and just leave your car at the parking lot in front of the property. The house itself had everything you needed and was spacious enough. The neighborhood was very quiet and the stay was quite peaceful. The places that needed to be clean, like the beds and bathroom were very clean.
Overall you can´t go wrong with staying at this holiday home for a couple nights.
Delicious eggs left for us by owner, from their own chickens. Wine was left for us too although we didn't have time to drink it. We arrived very late but this was not a problem. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need for cooking including herbs and spices. Good location handy for Plopsaland, could be walked although we drove as it was raining. House was very characterful and memorable. Plenty of towels.
Friendly staff, central location but still quiet. We had the apartment, which is around the corner of the hotel in a separate apartment complex. The apartment was very clean with ample space and two double beds. The apartment complex has parking spaces for 20€/night although it is relatively easy to find a spot in De Panne. Breakfast is good and served in a pleasantly decorated room.
The hotel was easy to find. The location was good - easy walking distance to shops and beach.
Everything was clean and new. We were pleased that there was underground parking at the hotel, with a lift straight up to the hotel floors. We were unable to go out for an evening meal, because of illness, so it was good to be able to get an evening meal from the bar.
I made the reservation very last minute, like a day before, but this was not a problem. Everything was clean when we arrived, there was some food in the fridge, clean towels in the bathroom. Every morning at 8am the breakfast arrived. My son loved the bunk bed and wanted to stay longer. It is really close to Plopsaland, which was great in our case.
Lovely house in the ideal location for De Panne. Everything close by. The house is a good size for a family of 4. The property also has a driveway for parking which is ideal as it can be quite difficult to park nearby.
Really kind and helpful host. The location was really close to Plopsaland De Panne and 10 minutes from the center by tram. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I would definitely visit again
Excellent breakfast with plenty of options. Better than expected.
De Verloren Gernoare is located directly opposite De Panne station and very close to Plopsaland with free parking available nearby.
room was large and clean, beds comfortable, breakfast was great and Pascal is the perfect host.
Having the tram station 2 minutes walk away makes going into De Panne really easy.
This was a very good experience. The hotel is quiet at night and my room suited my needs perfectly. The breakfast was very good a standard Belgian presentation, I think.
A hotel on the main square with an excellent restaurant next door.
Very friendly check-in and nice rooms, bathroom a little small but perfectly ok
Good breakfast
