Brilliant Host, super proactive while clarifying any doubts. Great Location. Supermarket, ATM just in the immediate vicinity. Tram Stop, S-Bahn just a quick walk from the apartment which will take you to city center of Basel within 30 mins. A very convenient parking just behind the building. Highly recommend to take the tram to the city center instead of taking the car if you are planning to explore the city life of Basel. A free public transportation pass to the whole Basel land during our stay was provided by the host which really helped us to roam around the city very conveniently with public transport.
Modern Urban Retreat, a property with a terrace, is situated in Pratteln, 9.2 km from Schaulager, 9.4 km from Kunstmuseum Basel, as well as 10 km from Basel Cathedral.

The supermarket was nearby the property. We arrived by car from the UK, therefore we needed a parking place which was easily found. I came to Switzerland to see my favourite band at the Konzertfabrik which again wasn't far by walk.
Set within the Pratteln-Schweizerhalle industrial area only 150 metres from the Schweizerhalle marina of the Rhein, Gasthof zur Saline provides free parking and good connections to Basel.

Good location, friendly staff, rooms spacious and clean
Enjoying a quiet location in the heart of Basel, the Radisson Blu Basel Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the central train station and features a great indoor pool.
I liked the fact that I was in the old part of the Village...
I liked the fact that I was in the old part of the Village and not far to walk to the tram and station , all the shops I needed and on the edge of fields and woods for some wonderful walks. There were also plenty of places to eat.
The location is great, if you walk outside to the right and go around the car repair shop you can walk up the parking garage and there is a super market inside on the first level. Ikea and macdonalds are near. Remember that the stores and mac donalds are open 10 am. On saturday the stores are open 9:00 but mcd still 10:00 hahaha. The staff is super friendly. The place was quite that was something i really liked. Thanks for having us there!
Excellent location. Very nice and helpful host, respectful to the traveler's privacy. Exquisitely furnished room that was shiny new and clean. Exceptionally quiet place. Continental breakfast from Swiss products was wonderful. I would happily come again and I would recommend this place to anyone who wishes to explore Basel and the area, do some nice hiking, or go to the concert at Z7 concert hall.
I was really happy with my stay at Kalimera in Pratteln. I stayed a few days for a concert and for exploring Basel. Location is really good. Z7 arena is only a few minutes walk away, same goes for train station and convenience store. The room was clean and well prepared. The staff working at Kalimera is really nice. Overall, im happy with my stay there :)
I recommend it to other people
I’ve stayed in IBIS Budget in Geneva on a few occasions and this one in Pratteln is about the same standard. You get what you pay for, which is fully OK for what we needed: a good nights sleep in a clean small standard room with a shower on our way to a sports tournament. We arrived after 9pm and the receptionist was very friendly and efficient. Parking available downstairs.
Good budget hotel, exactly what you can expect from ibis: new, clean, and ergonomic.
Located close to the highway and aquabasilea.
In the case of three-person rooms, you must know that the shower cabin opens in the room. For one person's stay, it's ok, but I don't know if for all companies I would feel good about this.
The location of the hotel is extremely convenient, right next to a motorway exit but still fairly quiet!
The rooms are tiny but alright. Breakfast to take along is a coffee and a croissant, that's alright for the price. Fabulous is the elevator, especially for an older person or pet!
The beds were comfy and good linen. A staff member I will always remember from my travels was the lovely lady @ the hotel who went to the store to get me an adapter for the Swiss powerboard, as mine was a euro one. she was so lovely and didn’t ask for anything in return.
Ratio quality/comfort to price is excelent.
Hotel staff is helpful, understanding and kind.
Pizza next doors.
Close to highway.
Good parking.
One of best 3star hotels i have visited... In my opinion this hotel has 4stars. 4th star is Julia.
The rooms were nice and clean, staff was very nice. We booked for the AC, went to 4 rooms no AC, tried to sleep but it was 90 degrees in the room and 75 outside at 11pm. Moved to another hotel that had AC.
We only needed a transit accommodation not too far from the airport/Basel before setting off to Zermatt. We only needed comfortable beds, good breakfast, parking and free wifi, all of which were provided.
The facilities had a lift, the staff at the reception was friendly and changed our room with no problem.
They had enough parking in front of the hotel for most customers, even if it had to be paid.
Excellent hotel. Very clean, big, and comfortable rooms, huge bathroom, and a great breakfast. Plus, the staff was very kind, present and supportive. Definitely great value!
Great location - 10 minutes away from the train station, nice and cozy atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff. Definetly the number 1 place to go for me in Pratteln!
