Beautiful accommodation in a lovely setting. Very high standards of cleaning. Dog friendly, lovely staff. Couldn't have been happier.
Extremely comfy beds, quiet environment surrounded by nature - we both commented it's the only accomodation we have been comfortable and slept the entire night on the first night. A home away from home. Relaxing. Beautiful setting, particularly enjoyed making our own breakfast and eating it whilst watching the garden.
Close to Balloch Castle Country Park, Woodvale is situated in Balloch and has a garden. Free WiFi is offered. A flat-screen TV and DVD player are available in some units.

Large family room offered plenty of space. Location was close enough for a short walk to eateries but far enough away to avoid the noise. Breakfast. Reasonably priced.

Lovely wee toon.
Lots ongoing. KILT-WALK w/e.
Helpful locals.
Clean and tidy streets.
Pubs, cafe’s and shops doing a great trade.
Many outdoor facilities to choose from.
Shopping outlet by Loch Lomond a brilliant place to visit. The wee eaterie by Pavers Shoe shop is great for food, drinks, people watching, views and a good venue for men, when the ladies go shopping 😄.
This wee toon was rammed with walkers and “Kilties” ( people assisting the walkers and doing a great job of traffic management etc. keeping pedestrians and drivers safe , throughout the whole w/e ).
Outstanding wee toon.

Beautiful scenery on the walks to Loch Lomond shores, if you can get on the boat tour then I would definitely recommend, so tranquil. The Tullie Inn is directly next to the train station and across the road is the boat trips booking office. We’ve stayed here a few times. Pleasant staff, cosy, comfortable and clean spacious rooms.

We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch.
We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch. Easy access to parking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food good and great variety. The only downside is there is no sitting area away from the restaurant at night. Could do with a little bar to have a quiet drink before going to bed. You can easily access anywhere else in the Balloch area.

Didn't spend a huge amount of time in Balloch bit did a Loch Cruise with Sweeneys which was very pleasant. Also took a walk through the Castle Park and saw a Red Squirrel there, park is beautiful too which also has a walled garden. Lots of places to eat in Balloch and big Coop open 7 days a week until 10pm

Apart from the House of Fraser shopping centre there was not much else. Ideal for walking an=round the area but the town itself is in need of investment as it was pretty shabby, poor example of the gateway to Loch Lomond

Host Andrea, was friendly, attentive, personable and obliging. The guesthouse is small, cosy, reasonably priced for Balloch, clean, nicely decorated with personal touches. The breakfast was tasty plentiful, fresh and again presentation and touches makes a huge difference. The location was not far from Balloch Castle Park 5 min walk, Loch Lomond Shores shops 20 mins, boat trips 10 mins etc, restaurants 15 mins, all of which suited our purpose. Our stay was a positive and enjoyable experience. and I feel it is a guesthouse with a lot of heart!
The location was ideal for me, just a short bus ride from my son's home and close to Alexandria town centre, Balloch and the bus stop. My host was very kind and welcoming. My little room was spotless and very well equipped with hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was enough to feed a family of five! I was delighted to find a single room at such a reasonable price, enabling me to visit my son and his family who do not have room to put me up for the night.
As this was the last In a range of hotels booked for our tour of Scotland - it was the one with the lowest expectation...this was a mistake! The location was superb and the staff were excellent. Very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Room was large and very comfortable. Dined in the pub the one evening and wished we had booked in for the 2nd night as it too was excellent service and very good food. Would definitely stay again if in area or stay in the chain of Inns elsewhere.
Lovely warm welcome by Andrea. Room was spacious with quality furniture and soft furnishings. Bathroom was a really good size and had everything we needed. Bed was the comfiest we had in 9 days around Scotland and breakfast was excellent. We were also given a spare set of keys so we could leave and pick up our luggage on the afternoon of checkout. Location was close to train station and bus stop for backpackers and easy walk to pubs, shops and restaurants.
It was available on short notice, and the keys were in a combination box outside the front door of the apartment building, so we didn't have to arrange an arrival time with the host. The value for the price was very good, and the beds were comfortable and clean. It was in walking distance of the main street of Balloch. The host has been helpful in returning a friend's cell phone that got left behind.
Beautiful little cottage, which was a short walk from all local attractions in Balloch. The cottage itself had everything you needed for a short break, and Cathy, who was a friendly lady, was only a phone call away should you need anything. If you are visiting Balloch, the two hour island cruise is a must do. The Queen of the Loch and The Tullie Inn are great places to eat and are reasonably priced.
clear instructions were provided and user manual
Well equipped kitchen
Very friendly and welcoming staff
Beautiful view and lovely place
Beautiful furnishing
Homie place
I loved the storage area it is spacious(it is like a small room inside the bedroom)
Front view are large glass windows, so you’ll have to weigh the privacy versus the view
Very good heating system
We booked BurnHowf as we were attending a family wedding in the Cameron House hotel and were delighted we did. Everything about it was excellent, from the close, walking distance proximity of the hotel, through to the cleanliness and excellent facilities on offer. We will most certainly book again with Drumkinnon Lodges. Thank you for the perfect stay.
it was in a great little town on the shores of loch lomond, beautiful places to walk and hike nearby. it was right in front of the dock for the loch cruises. there was the most beautiful park arount the castle 3 minutes walk away. there was a really good restaurant and a beer garden at the hotel. the rooms they gave us were outstanding.
The nice flat is well located in the area. It is clean, spacious and hall everything you will need for a few days in the area. Parking is free and well sized, things to do on Balloch are within walking distance. Try walking into town via the foot and cyclepath nearby and after dinner the large park is great for an evening stroll.
The property is centrally located in Balloch for Loch Lomond and local amenities. Kevin & Elaine are fantastic hosts. We had an attic room that was spacious and ideal for us. The breakfast was delicious and filling. When we are next in the area, this will be our first port of call.
I've stayed at three hotels at Balloch this year, and Tulie inn got the best location. It's wonderful for people travelling by public transport and walking because it's close to the Balloch Castle Country Park and other popular places.
Hotel was actually separate from the Queen of the Loch building, but it made for a quiet room away from the restaurant. Room was simple, but fairly comfortable. Good location if you're exploring Loch Lomond area.
Lovely comfortable hotel on a beautiful location. Very dog friendly with lovely walks. We got upgraded to a lovely loch view room which made our stay even better. Food in all areas of the hotel was great.
Very clean and beautiful little hotel with great staff and delicious breakfast. The parking was easy, on-site, and free. The location is within walking distance of restaurants. The bed was very comfortable.
Nice, clean modern room with a fridge. Very quiet. Beautiful setting. Lesley the proprietor was extremely warm, welcoming and nice. One of the nicest hosts we have met in three weeks in Scotland.
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is perfectly located to explore Balloch and the Loch. The rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable.
Excellent stay at the hotel! Lovely big room, comfortable double bed, nice shower and toilet facility, quiet area, ovely staff, central location in Balloch and easy to get to Loch Lomond.
