It was a nice stay - the room was clean, the bathroom was very nice, the staff was kind and the hotel itself was next to a quiet street and near the seaside.

Lovely place , plenty of choice to eat and drink , great views from the wheel. Also , I would just like to correct myself , the name was Jackie who was front of house , not Julia , we had contact with Julia before arriving , whole gave a good belly laugh , the smoky negative I had from the staff was the on duty Manager , the rest of the staff were amazing

Beaumaris is a beautiful costal town.
Beaumaris is a beautiful costal town. It has panoramic views over the Menai Straits. There are plenty of eating options for every taste. The town has an artistic focus with many art outlets and gift shops. There are also opportunities to attend workshops. We dined at Bishopsgate hotel and The Liverpool hotel. Food at both establishments was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Lots of lovely walk from the town centre and a castle and jail house to visit. The town is very easy to walk around and there is ample parking space not too far from the town cwntre.

Lots of things to see in Beaumauris.
Lots of things to see in Beaumauris. The castle is worth a visit with views of the Menai straits. There is a large car park on the sea front at £6 for all day parking. There are free, clean public toilets in the centre of town. Lots of great shops and eating places. I took a boat trip around Puffin Island, there are a couple of companies doing these, it lasted 1 hour 20 minutes and well worth doing. The sea is a bit choppy around the island due to the water currents.

Booked hotel to take a morning boat trip to Puffin island, trip was cancelled due too bad weather, we later found out that the puffins were not there at that time of year, so check they are nesting before you go. Nice little town ok for a day visit.

There is so much to do in such a small and pretty village.
There is so much to do in such a small and pretty village. The castle is two minutes from the hotel which displays lots of historical information. Lots of independent shops are great for browsing and offer locally produced goods.
St. Mary and St. Nicholas church offers free entry and is a beautiful building with an information sheet offering more details on its history.
Beaumaris is a great place for a leisurely stroll with plenty to see and do.

beautifull welsh town with nice old cottages and buildings.
beautifull welsh town with nice old cottages and buildings. loads of local history including the Beaumaris castle. my favourite part is the Barron hill estate that I really love. the history behind it is amazing and not many people know its there. best pub for food is defiantly the George and dragon and the meals are good quality and get loads. one place to avoid in my opinion is the ye old bull. no staff and there rude in there plus overpriced.
The room, location and breakfast were excellent value for money. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. We were participating in the Anglesey Half Marathon on the 6th and had to leave the hotel before breakfast was normally served. The lovely lady who served breakfast kindly volunteered to come in extra early so that we could have breakfast before the race. A really great touch above and beyond anything we expected and much appreciated. Thank you so much, we'll be back to stay again soon !
I liked the location and friendliness of the staff. It was a bit old worldly and slightly dated but nonetheless nice. We used the restaurant twice and had two really good meals with nice service. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again especially if we were visiting Ireland again as we used this hotel to visit the local area before catching a ferry from Holyhead. Beaumaris and local area is also worth a tour.
The views from the property are absolutely lovely and the location is superb - there's so much to see in the area and things to do for everyone. I recommend driving round the coast of the whole island and there are some truly spectacular beaches with mountain views. Also the Bulkeley Hotel does a nice dinner service and is a 1 min walk away.
The property is really central so fabulous for a stay in Beaumaris, the rooms are decorated lovely, spotlessly clean and supply everything you’d need.
Hannah was amazing with last minute requests for decoration in my mums room for her 70th birthday and was so hospitable for our whole stay including her family.
Hotel was better than expected for the price we paid. Room was clean and fresh. Food was good in the restaurant part and the restaurant was very popular. Breakfast was very nice too. Staff were very helpful and polite. Good WiFi in the hotel as well. Would definitely stay again when back in Beaumaris.
It was beautifully decorated and really peaceful. Our host could not do more for us accommodating an extra bed for our daughter. The apartment was beyond spotless and the kitchen was one of the best equipped self catering ones I have ever used. We will look to book again if we come back to Anglesey.
Room very small ,but you don't spend much time in there. Breakfast was basic continental. No lift .parking was opposite the castle £6 which was fine. We ate at The Liverpool hotel highly recommended.
Breakfast options were impressive and delicious. The hotel is situated on the main street next door to Beaumaris Castle. Restaurants, bars and the waterfront are within walking distance.
Plenty of space in the cottages we rented. Great for getting family groups and friends together. Quiet location, but close to Beaumaris and some lovely areas of Anglesey.
Everything about the hotel was good, including breakfast. We met with friends so we ate dinner elsewhere, but the dining room @ the Bishopsgate was busy each evening.
Fantastic location. Across from the castle and only a couple of minutes walk to seafront Shops right on the doorstep
Kitchen & upstairs bedrooms well appointed
The hotel staff were all really welcoming and helpful. The location in the centre of Beaumaris was great. Both dinner and breakfast were extremely good.
