Cardigan Castle, hotel in Cardigan

Set in Cardigan, Cardigan Castle offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a restaurant, a bar and barbecue facilities. A TV and DVD player are available in some units.

Good breakfast but could have been slightly bigger. (half a mushroom) All the staff were lovely. Lovely room we stayed in. Only one tiny bottle of shower gel and shampoo; two would have been better. One packet of waffles with 2 inside; again 2 packets would have been nicer.

Cardigan Castle disappointing, not much to see, may be of more interest to somebody wanting historical facts. To me a waste of time and money. Castle virtually non existent. Cardigan is a town that time has forgotten! For that it is pleasantly quaint. Nice cafes. Probably better on a fine day!

Quite a quaint town during the day but at night it does come alive especially the pubs. A really lovely range of shops and food places. A visit to the castle is a must. The best places are often the ones reccomended by locals. 2 days just wasn't enough for me, as just a little further out was glorious bays, beaches and mountains but more spectacular was the waterfalls

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather.

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather. Went for a few walks on the coastal pathways which had breathtaking views. Cardigan was 10 minutes away by car. Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Crwst. This is a must for anyone visiting the area. Great pasta lunch at Berlotti's. A fairly good variety of shops in Cardigan. We also visited Theatre Mwldan during our stay to watch the latest Poirot film.

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely home and rooms just outside of Cardigan. Wonderful fresh cut up fruit is served with your breakfast. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating. We needed an earlier breakfast in order to catch the Poppit Rocket bus to hike a stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The approximate mile long road approaching the lodging is a typical narrow country lane (with turnouts) that can be a little nerve wracking for those not accustomed to narrow roads. This establishment is well worth the drive down to it.

What an excellent find. Only stayed one night as was touring and usually book hotels but Llety Teifi Guesthouse has restored my faith in B&B's. Great location, stunning house and rooms. Bathroom was superb and loved the heated bathroom mirror. The owners Gary and Sally could not do enough for us. Superb location close to the centre of town but our room was quiet. Will be back but will book more than one night so that we can explore the area more thoroughly. Superb highly recommended.

Central location in Cardigan town. There was no on-site parking but plenty of nearby carparks. The hotel is quite historic and therefore the rooms are a bit dated but fine - clean, tidy with adequate facilities for a one-night stay. The cooked breakfast the next day was plentiful with quality fresh ingredients: cereals and juice were also available. I didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked reasonable in both choice and price.

Truly stunning location with magnificent views over Cardigan Bay. The restaurant and bars face onto the views with lots of outside tables and seating too. The constantly changing light and weather make for ever-changing vistas. Huge room and bathroom. Super king-size bed which was very comfortable. Quick and efficient service in bars and restaurant. Easy parking.

Central location in Cardigan , near shops castle and restaurants/pubs. Clean. Well equipped kitchen and even decent knives for preparing meals. Everything was very well presented and tidy and great for the price. Ideal location for those who want to visit the area and town to explore locally. The location is superb for town, yet was very quiet, even in the garden. The garden is lovely and has adequate privacy (great for yoga!). The cottage is very comfortable, relaxing and tastefully furnished. There was thorough information about the house, appliances, services and local area provided by the host in 2 well stocked files. Would definitely rebook.

We were very impressed with the room (20) which was comfortable, spacious and with an excellent view of the bay. Full marks! Dinner was pre booked as there was a wedding in an adjacent hotel. Notwithstanding the numbers, service was speedy and the staff attentive. The meal was also good value for money which makes a refreshing change.

Really nice clean & comfortable hotel/restaurant. Very friendly & obliging owner, excellent breakfast & an amazing steak house with a unique take on cooking steak. Our bed was the best in a series of hotel stays on our road trip around South wales.

Location was perfect for exploring Cardigan and its surrounding coastline. 10-15 drive for most beaches we wanted to visit. The cottage was also close to the town centre. but still felt like we were secluded in our own little quiet haven!
