Room was great and quirky to say the least but very nice, bathroom was ok but not on the same level as the room itself.
Food was great and breakfast was plentiful.

We spent the two days at Kentisbury Grange and only ventured out to walk around the grounds due to the bad weather. The House had the most comfortable drawing room that was warm and we were able to sit and relax.
We ate at the Grange which was just exceptional. The staff there were all friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant.
The rooms were very spacious, clean and very comfortable.

Excellent weekend stay.
Excellent weekend stay. Our cottage suite was roomy and to a high standard was isolated and quiet 😃 the food in the restaurant was also excellent. My partner who follows a vegan diet questioned why there was no options on the menu, after consultation with the kitchen she was presented with several high quality options that she really enjoyed😀

A hotel in a beautiful location.
A hotel in a beautiful location. Surrounded by lush green grass, ancient trees, and lakes. Loved to see the young rabbits running around, ducks with their chicks. Rooms were clean with a good shower and bathroom. The king size beds were so comfortable. Couldn't fault my room. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

A nice place but felt liked it lacked character and authenticity. The shower kept jumping between hot and lukewarm. A pleasant enough stay if you don't intend to stay in the room much as the classic room is tiny (smaller than photos show).

I thought the rooms were very good whichever one you picked outside (didn't get to see the indoor ones). The restaurant was nicely designed too. The place was very central as to whether you wanted the coast or Exmoor. Although I didn't get to see a lot due to a very short stay noticed there was a lot in the area to see such as a Zoo, a Dinosaur Park with grounds plus a National Trust House a few miles down the road and fishing lake nearby.
The hotel, the food and the staff were all truly exceptional. The hotel is quite small/boutique, beautifully decorated and furnished and fairly quiet. We had a suite which was incredibly spacious with a super comfy, very large bed, amazing bathroom with a beautiful free standing bath, huge shower, underfloor heating and twin basins. Really appreciated the in room coffee machine. Ate in the restaurant.. fabulous food and all of the staff were friendly and efficient in quite an understated way. Amazing cocktails!!!!
Very nice, tranquil, country side location with great views (we stayed in a Kentisbury Suite, on the first floor of the main building). Ample parking and excellent landscaping which make the grounds feel a lot more private. Cars / other lodges tend to be hidden from the great views all round.
The on site restaurant is excellent and both of us loved the dishes on offer. We had breakfast every day (overnight oats and the poached eggs were the highlight) and dinner two times.
Our room was upgraded from a luxury to a Kentisbury Suite with a roll top bath so we were very pleased. The vegetarian breakfast was lovely and the staff were very professional. We had one evening meal in the Coach House which was lovely and an improvement on our last stay. However the cost of the meal was high so we did go to a local pub one night to balance our costs.
We stayed in the kentisbury suite which was located on the ground floor, right beside the front door. We thought this would be a problem but it wasn't at all. The room was so quiet, with a really comfortable bed and huge bathroom. We really enjoyed the food too. Both breakfast and dinner were so good! We're definitely going to stay again.
We staryed in the Kentisbury Suite, a well-appointed, large room with an enormous bathroom. The carpet was extremely plush and the furnishings -- especially the drapes -- are top-notch. The bed was very comfortable. Dinner at the Coach House on the property was very good, as was the breakfast there in the morning.
Gorgeous garden cabins set in beautiful grounds of a country house hotel. It has a lovely restaurant with lounge above in another building which looks like a converted barn. The food is excellent and the rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would recommend and would stay again.
The customer service at Kentisbury Grange was second to none. I really cannot thank the staff enough for an amazing stay. The food was exceptional, the surroundings sublime and the whole experience fantastic.
We were very impressed with the hotel. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to look after us! Would definitely go back again!
