If there is no air conditioning in the room, there should be fans available for ALL rooms in the event of hot weather. Room was unbearably hot. Sleep was scarce as a result. The rest of the stay was very good.

The location provided easy access to some of the sacred sites around the area, we drove to the Uffingham horse then walked to Wayland Smithy, before driving back south to Avebury and then home. The hotel was clean well cared for and the cost was incredibly cheaper than we expected. Thank you

There was a trouser press that's probably not been used since 1993 but I slept better knowing it was there. There were spare towels, spare pillows, a hairdryer and windows you could actually open - and best of all, a bath! The staff were so nice and friendly too. Had a great view from the room on a meadow with forest in the back where we enjoyed watching rabbits eat and play. Windows could be opened for fresh air.
