Beautiful property. Set in beautiful grounds . They have some goats you can see which was lovely. They are welcoming of dogs in one of the bars and to stay, although we did not have our dog with us this is great to know for future reference. The decor is spot on. It’s not often you go somewhere and feel so comfortable and this is definitely due to the decor and set up and not to mention ALL of the welcoming staff. The staff were welcoming from the min we arrived , providing smiles , knowledge of the area and general chit chat. This s a really wonderful hotel: restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone. Not to mention … they have fantastic prices for stays with breakfast rather than inflated prices where people would not be able to experience a stay here ! Well done guys ! What an achievement to have created such a wonderful place for people to come and be happy !

Very modern, clean and comfortable. Ideal as a base for touring.
The Walnuts is a 300-year old Grade II listed, former gentleman's residence and latterly the village shop, until 1960.

We had (1) the one-room chalet, with its quirky kitchen area, comfy bed, wardrobe and well-appointed bathroom, and (2) the enormous king-size suite, which is about the same size as a two-bedroom flat, with a comfy bed, lovely furniture and even a fridge, microwave and toaster. We only saw the male host, who was very welcoming and friendly. Milk (UHT), biscuits (malted milk) and chocolates (Quality Street) were in the rooms.
A picturesque retreat with a lovely restaurant & bar.
A picturesque retreat with a lovely restaurant & bar. Most rooms are in the grounds so be careful of weather conditions. Good facilities in the rooms- ample bathroom with bath & shower. Free WIFI. Reception mostly unmanned. Footpath past our terrace so only for exhibitionists or pull all the blinds down! Good menu & wine list

A pretty village with a garden centre, an interesting church and a farm shop with cafe. Historic cottages. Very near to the Saxon village visitor centre and to Mildenhall. We used Wongs chinese takeaway in Mildenhall and it was very good. The restaurant in Tuddenham Mill is good too but expensive.

It was a lovely stay for me and my husband for our anniversary, we stayed in one of the books with the hot tub but sadly that wasn’t in use, didn’t realise you payed extra for it. Would of made stay even. More perfect.
Food and staff were great, very polite and welcoming.
Would definitely stay here again.

The Loft room was very nice but missing basic amenities one would expect from a hotel claiming to be a 'luxury' property. The dining room was very attractive and full of original features and equipment from its mill days. The view over the millpond was delightful. The staff seemed a bit 'edgey' and appeared to be unhappy in their jobs. The food was a grave disappointment from the sparse and haphazard breakfast to the dreadful dinner meats. I noticed other diners stuck with the steak but they appeared to be locals so I guess they had experience on their side. I hope I caught the hotel on a bad day as I would hate to think other travelers experienced the stay that I did.
Omg, our stay at Loft East was absolutely phenomenal. We LOVED, LOVED, LOVED our loft! The entire property is gorgeous and well-manicured, our accommodations were out of this world, and the FOOD was beyond incredible. The staff was SO friendly and helpful, and our entire, entire, entire experience was just delightful. We are SO, SO happy that we chose Tuddenham Mills to stay at. We will definitely be back for sure!!!
The property was gorgeous. Very quiet and relaxing. The room was perfect and cozy, and the bathroom was huge. Stayed in Water Meadow room and the view from the patio was stunning. The food was amazing. Breakfast that was included is exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I have nothing but positives and raves about this hotel. I will for sure be back if I visit England again.
Beautiful hotel. The meadow nooks were stunning, comfortable and clean. As a couple looking for something different for the night and to enjoy a birthday getaway we had the best time and it was perfect. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.
Very friendly and welcoming start. Superb food in the restaurant with excellent service and lovely surroundings. The room was warm, very comfortable and had everything that you could possibly need. The overall standard of Tuddenham Mill was incredible and would be hard to improve.
A characterful hotel in a former working mill astride a river that still runs under the hotel. Our room, in an annex to the main building, was large and comfortable. Small but pleasant bar. Food at both dinner and breakfast was very good
Nice setting by the Mill Pond & decor in the hotel was lovely. Room had a nice terrace. Food was nice & good champagne.Bathrobes, soft towels, bath & shower in good order. Lovely swans gliding past. Well- placed for Newmarket.
Breakfast was good, excellent young lady serving and all staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was spotless and the beds were cosy. All in all, a lovely break. Thank you.
Beautiful surroundings and lovely hotel. The bar and restaurant had a really nice atmosphere and the food and drink were fantastic. Our room was also large and luxurious.
Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting, very comfortable rooms and exceptional food. Restaurant was really cosy and staff very friendly, just rushed off their feet!
Great food, lovely rooms, nice grounds to walk dogs and good that a rural hotel has proper EV car chargers as decent ones are hard to find in villages.
