The location is close to the national park which is the most important thing when you come here. The food at the bar is very good and reasonably priced. They do a lot of activities like night walks and they can take you to their feeding stations/hides where you can observe a great number of animals and take close photos of them.

A very interesting concept of the room on the top of the cage with birds. Everything around is made with love and style, a lot of lights and very cosy in the evening time. The breakfast is absolutely magnificent. Very nice area near the river, a lot of spots to take a good photo.
Located just a 2-minute drive from the entrance of Kaeng Krachan National Park, known as the best place for birding, Kum Nangpaya welcomes guests with a restaurant and bar.

Highly recommended! Super close to Kaeng Krachan National Park, so many birds around, food is amazing, probably I tried most of the food in their menu. Exceptionally helpful and friendly management and staff. Both Nok and Lek are great people, they made my stay very easy. I’ll 100% stay again.

This is a fantastic national park, especially for those people who want to experience lots of wildlife.
It doesn't have many facilities ( especially when compared to Khao Yai NP), but camping is available (tents can be hired for a reasonable price) and the two campsites have a basic restaurant ( although check opening times as they often close early).
Please note that the top campsite can only be reached by a 4x4, and that the park operates a one-way system to vehicles. Therefore you can only drive up the hill between certain hours, and down again in a different time slot.
Wildlife abounds in the park, although much of it can be difficult to see to the casual observer. However, a couple of primate and squirrel species are very common, along with various birds.
With luck Gaur, Sun Bear and elephant can be seen, while black Leopard sightings are not uncommon.

Motorcycle riders paradise.
Motorcycle riders paradise. The roads around the Kaeng Krachan National Park and Pa La-U waterfall are pure twisty mountain jungle road bliss. Will not let you go in the park itself though, dirt roads and flash flooding means they dont allow bikes. If you come with a bike and absolutely must get in the park, prepare to hike or rent transport at the checkpoint. We had 3 days in the area and did not miss not getting in at all, so much to see and roads to ride in the area anyway.
Stay at Baan Maka Nature Lodge for the best nature and jungle bird watching themed stay. Dont miss Khrua Chai Khao restaurant on your way to or from Pa La-U waterfall, great food and stunning views of the surrounding area.

VERY nice if you want a quiet place, in the middle of nature with LOTS of amazing birds, squirrels, forests, hiking places canoing and lightning bugs (fireflies). GREAT Thai food and one of the only places I know of in Thailand that make their own bread fresh each day for breakfast. If you're looking for nature, this is the place! (No TVs or microwaves, so if you're wanting to watch your soap operas and eat microwave popcorn, go somewhere else). Hosts are great, very friendly & helpful. Binoculars provided free of charge for birdwatching (we saw LOTS of hornbills, including several that were right by the restaurant) and star watching.

Beautiful nature Attractions clean and well prepared.
Beautiful nature Attractions clean and well prepared. But the water in the dam may dry summer. The rainy season is about to see the butterflies.
It is ideal for swimming in river rafting.
Each Tourist attractions quite far. Should have the car.
Baan Maka has one of the most exceptional gardens of any hotel I have ever stayed at. From our terrace, we saw a litany of rare birds and other animals. There is a lovely lake full of lotus flowers through which you can Kayak. The staff are generous and friendly. Kayaks, breakfast, and real coffee are all free. The restaurant serves vegetables from their organic garden. They're were very accommodating of dietary requirements including vegetarian/vegan
A quiet basis for day tours into Kaeng Krachan National Park, ideal for families with children. Nice pools, good service and perfect authentic food. Fix your private driver up front as this hotel is quite remote, but has everything on board for a couple of relaxed days. Popular with Thai over the weekends, which adds to the typical local vibe. Expect Thai hospitality!
We chose this place because the location is quite good. The road outside doesn't have much light so it isn't so convenient to leave the hotel after sunset.
The food was good. The staffs were nice.
Brand New hotel with very good facilities, nice sized pool, Netflix, strong wifi connection, comfortable beds, suitable for families. The scenery by the river was beautiful very relaxing and quiet.
Excellent lodging to explore Kaeng Krachang and surroundings. Also not far from Pak Thale. Very comfortable rooms and good birds at the hotel grounds! Highly recommended.
the environment is very good and it's near the national park good for birds tour.
The owner of the hotel is very polite and she will help you arrange the itinerary.
